{"id":486,"date":"2014-02-17T17:40:10","date_gmt":"2014-02-18T01:40:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sbig.org\/?p=486"},"modified":"2014-03-01T15:04:01","modified_gmt":"2014-03-01T23:04:01","slug":"putting-the-electricity-underground","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbig.org\/?p=486","title":{"rendered":"Putting The Electricity Underground"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On July 16, 2013, the Pismo Beach City Council passed a motion \u201cto purchase from the County of San Luis Obispo Rule 20A credits for the under-grounding of utilities along the Shell Beach Road Streetscape \u2013 Phase I project.\u201d At the Board of Supervisors\u2019 meeting Tuesday, July 23, 2013, a Resolution for the purpose of transferring underground utility allocations was passed. These allocations will be \u201cused for the completion of the Shell Beach Road Underground Utility District (between Cliff Drive and Terrace Ave.).\u201d\u00a0 The undergrounding of utility and communication lines is an integral part of the Streetscape Plan.
